Winemaker Comments

We introduced a budget red into our range some time ago and with the advent of the new restaurant believed it was opportune to include a budget white wine into the range as well. This first Leuco White is 100% Sauvignon Blanc made with the same attention to detail as our standard Sauvignon Blanc. whereas the Standard wine is made primarily from free run juice as a stylistic choice, the Leuco white is a blend of press juice and juice from the lees filters. We do not perceive this to be juice of a lesser quality and do include a portion in the standard wine as it contributes tremendously to mouth feel and complexity.
