Winemaker Comments

These grapes were picked as in the last 2 years from a Nitida block and a block on the opposite farm Maastricht.  We grafted one of our Pinotage blocks to sauvignon blanc 2 years ago because we found its eucalyptus character overpowering in the wine and have found this combination of  blocks gives us a beautiful harmony of flavours and making the wine very specific to Nitida and instantantly recognisable. We have built up a staunch following for this wine that ensures that the 750 cases we produce each year find very loved homes.
